| Farley Medical
Services offers private care to individuals and companies for their
employees. It provides a fast and
personal alternative to NHS care with flexibile appointments
to suit clients. The practice was founded by Dr The Viscountess Bearsted, MBBS, MSc. She is the director and a private GP, having qualified at St Thomas's Hospital, London University in 1975. She worked in Paddington for 25 years as an NHS GP Principal and private Occupational Health Practitioner. In 2004 Lady Bearsted received her Master of Science degree with distinction in General Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at King's College, London. Her thesis was on the Pathogenesis of Neurogenerative Disease. Lady Bearsted is a member of the Independent Doctor's Federation and a member of the Royal Society of Medicine. The practice is situated in a tranquil garden setting in the grounds of Farley Hall, part of a 1,750 acre estate owned by Lord and Lady Bearsted. Farley Medical Practice has two consulting rooms with examination areas. There is a separate reception area with client information and a plasma screen TV. The premises are accessible by wheelchair and there is a car park close by within the grounds. Farley Medical Practice provides a flexible personal appointments system and can refer clients to specialists in London, Oxford and West Berkshire. Its services are available to adults and children and clients may remain on their own NHS GP list. Clients may see the Doctor on a permanent or temporary basis. Corporate services and insurance medicals are also available. |
